Welcome to the Sevenoaks Philharmonic Society
Our Choir

The Sevenoaks Philharmonic Society at Tewkesbury Abbey, April 2008
The Sevenoaks Philharmonic Society is a Sevenoaks based choir with approximately one hundred singers of all ages. We perform a very varied repertoire of music, both sacred and secular, together with The Sevenoaks Philharmonic Orchestra, under the music directorship of Robyn Sevastos. There are normally three concerts a year, in March/April, June and November/December in Sevenoaks, usually at St Nicholas Church and other venues in or around Sevenoaks. Our summer concerts form a part of the Sevenoaks Festival and, every alternate year we perform our summer concert with the Sevenoaks Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Darrell Davison.
We rehearse at St Luke's Church Hall, Eardley Road, Sevenoaks, on Tuesday evenings from 8 - 10 pm.
Our President
Lord Sackville, Robert Sackville-West, became our President in 2005, following the death of his uncle, Lord Sackville, Lionel Bertrand Sackville-West, the 6th Baron Sackville, born May 30 1913; died March 27 2004, who had been our President since the 1950s.
